SABATON -  BISMARCK

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-nBRUujqLlQ

I assure you the survivors from the Bismarck were not tortured. Mistreatment of prisoners occurred on the Eastern Front & in Russia, especially by Einsatzgruppen & Bosnian fascists in Yugoslavia. At the Battle of the Bulge, the Ardennes Offensive, the young Nazi fanatics who broke through the America lines also committed torture & murder. There were SS officers who had murdered thousands of Jews and were executed for shooting a downed RAF pilot; it was their personal decision not military policy. There were violations of the Geneva Convention for captured soldiers on the Western Front but only a small number. Japanese soldiers committed many atrocities, murdering injured soldiers in hospital beds & the nurses and doctors, Rape of Nanjing which Japan still refuses to apologise for. Japan often refused to recognise the Geneva and Haig Conventions. Japanese military concept of honour was based upon the warrior notion of loyalty to the Emperor & the ultra nationalism of a Japanese philosopher and not respect for the enemy. Whereas even in Nazi Germany there was still a sense of honouring your enemy, this was a value from the Imperial Germany days that even extended to the SS at times, but Hilter,Himmler & other Nazis did try to erase that and wanted merciless killing. That did happen on the Eastern Front , and towards Slav and Eastern Jews that they considered Untermenschen

The end of the video with British sailors helping up German is wholly accurate. The film 'Sink the Bismarck' has a number of errors. It portrays Grand Admiral Lutjens as pro Nazi, the officer lying on the floor of the bridge, injured. In fact he was vehemently anti Nazi. He was one of only 3 fleet officers (admirals) who signed an open letter condemning Kristallnacht , refused to give the Nazi salute or fly the Swastika.  Hitler had been trying to clear the High Command of anti-Nazis since 1933. The Lutjens had Jewish in laws via his wife Margarete Backenköhle. Jewish persecution was already at its full extent, but German people of mixed Jewish-non Jewish families had an exemption if they served in the military, specialist occupations or WWI veterans- but Himmler was against this & wanted them all deported to the death camps . In 1944 Himmler managed to get his way & ordered all the remaining Jewish men, most of course were already murdered, to report to the post office prior to deportation. The women blocked the roads to the central Berlin post office to prevent this & their is a monument to their heroism. The order was rescinded in the public outcry. You are right about camaraderie, at the First Gulf War there were officers from my former naval college serving I was following the news updates more avidly/concern than I already do because of that, happened spontaneously not planned, and Dad was getting updates about his regiment. There was no joy about Iraqi troops being killed, they were fellow combatants sent into battle because of politicians making a mess of things again

Additional thought.Martin Niemöller was Germany's most successful U-boat captain in World War I. He then became a pacifist & a Lutheran pastor. He quickly rejected the Nazi government as did many German Conservatives for their abuse of legal process & human rights . & for having elements of the Far Left & revolution although that had decreased a lot since 1924. He wrote the "First The Came..." poem . Due to his Lutheran beliefs he was anti-semitic in the 30s in as much he believed that Jews would be punished for the Crucifixion. In January 1946 he gave an anti-Nazi speech at Berlin University he had to escape when the students charged the stage with the intention of killing him for being anti-Nazi; this is after the liberation of the death camps. There were a number of post war Nazi political groups. The Socialist Reich Party was outlawed in 1952 only after it got 80,000 votes in Saxony & threateningly close to have MPs elected

 RAMMSTEIN RADIO

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_jcMhgfmvlE

One of the few sources of independent news that East Germans and in other authoritarian regimes were able to access, banned by their governments was the BBC World Service. Rock music was banned is most Communist countries as it was classified as Western, degenerate and capitalist. Meanwhile is West Germany some of the most experimental music was being made: Stockhausen & Kraut Rock
YOu're referring to the Devil's Interval aka Devil's Tritone. TOny IOmmi used it a lot inearly SAbbath. NIB & the notes of the Black SAbbath song, the latter is a broken chord of the tritone

COMMENT ON   REVIEWS  @ Vin and Sori Review Channel

To read a bit about film production company and its name go to:

The comments are in response to remarks in the post song review

Al Qaeda used to claim any a & all bombings as a means of producing a mirage of their size & to put the blame on the West for the bombing, The difference with the Sri Lanka bombing is that there is a video of the bombers declaring allegiance to ISIL .

In most Eastern churches Hell is simply the absence of God due to the pride or sinfulness of the deceased refusing to see Salvation. Buddhism has a very brutal Hell. Coming from a primarily Quaker based background I have a real problem of the theory of souls going to Hell. As that means that a divine spark which is incorruptible, is being sentenced for the sins of the body and mind which are largely/completely unaware of the spirit.

The Christian Hell emerged around 2nd century, as I recall without checking, as the Apocalypse of Peter is 2nd or 3rd century, influenced by the Jewish Gehenna, the valley where waste was burnt and so seen as a place of death. The Christian Patriarchs developed it as punishment to deter sin, which Nietzsche gave one of his few praises for Christianity: a world without the threat of Hell would have already descended into evil anarchy and power he believed. The fear of Hell actually decreased in the Middle Ages, it was Protestantism that reinvigorated the fear and threat of damnation.

IRON MAIDEN  - PASCHENDALE

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IUAQeqmj75Q

When I was a child I used to talk to an officer who was in the Battle of the Somme, he had lost a leg in the battle & he kept his false leg next to the wall in his study. He was about 90 by then.He included me in his will as he enjoyed our chats. What he didn't tell me, that I found out later what he, my relatives in both wars, was that at Paschendale, Somme & the World War I trenches they could hear rats gnawing on the dead at night. Vin, you say those who haven't fought aren't pacifists. That's true my father was sniper & some kind of special training that he didn't talk about except a couple of brief references. He loved being in the army when overseas in other countries, but after being a sniper he hated guns & fireworks. Many former soldiers hate fireworks as they sound like gunfire at a distance.Other relatives who were in heavy battles like dad often hated politicians when they choose to rush into war & not see the dead civilians & children or their comrades dying. You also say dying soldiers often wanting to be back with their mum. Dad saw fellow soldiers, who's last words were for their mother & wishing they were with them, or due to loss of blood they thought they were with their mothers.

Terrible battle amoung many.Around 800,000 dead or injured. It was during a crisis period of the war, where it looked Germany may have invaded Britain from Belgium & Holland as  a million German troops were freed from the Eastern Front. You can see some of the prayers I did for a service on Armistice Day 2018 & there is a video coming soon- http://armourae.blogspot.com/

When the Germans entered Belgium at the beginning of the war they were

accused of crucifying alive  priests & civilians. In the political

correctness of the 1990's this was dismissed by people who were not

researchers. I t has since been confirmed again that the Germans did do

crucifixions, and this was at the very beginning  months before trench

warfare began.

QUEEN THE SHOW MUST GO ON

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mwXYM_ZblQ0

Freddie was still alive when this song was released on the Innuendo album. Queen went to Switzerland to record the next album knowing that Freddie would be too ill to complete it so they recorded his vocals first on days when he could get to the studio.  If you've seen the Bohemian Rhapsody movie it contains a number of inaccuracies for artistic license. At Live Aid Freddie did not have the virus. Their last gig at Knebworth he was still getting negative test results but knew his time was limited as his group of friends at the Heaven nightclub were all contracting the illness, including the actor who played the Jester in BBC's Rentaghost. There is another Queen album: Queen with Paul Rodgers who is a great singer from the 70s. Made about +10years ago. Then he went back to his solo career and they did a reality programme to find his replacement in Adam Lambert, a decent enough singer but not a patch on Mercury or Rodgers but the band won't say that

METALLICA-  OF WOLF AND MAN

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gre0o6VCDY4

Vin has woken up! EyeHateGod he was comatosed. Metallica was listening to Sepultura's first song: Necromancer by the sounds of it, although that is a far better song with more melodies. Yeah GG Allin: Kill the Police. There have been a few famous cases of children raised by wolves, they behaved like wolves. One of the recent cases, when he was captured and brought back to 'civilisation' he went back to his pack with anthropologists, they wolves responded when he howled for them but wouldn't come to him as he smelt different, he had the smell of humans not of the wolf pack Apropos plants defending themselves, Alex will know this from Stryer's Biochemistry: tobacco plants contain nicotine to deter insects from eating them. The potato and tomato plants have similar compounds in their leaves to stop animals eating them. Doesn't stop the cabbage white butterfly which has evolved to eat them. Ignore those AMERICAN websites saying "Hey eat RAW vegetables" specifically potato, kale, cabbage, broccoli. The cruciferous vegetables contain toxins which slow your metabolism. The toxins are destroyed by mild cooking. Its the plant defending itself

Biography of the writer Hilda Lewis and  academic Professor Michael Lewis

This is the short biography I wrote on the novelist Hilda Lewis and her husband. You can also read it on IMDB. I am an admirer of Hilda's writing having heard of a few of her books and my attention being drawn to a Sphere published book, the company had colourful covers in the 70s. Her husband was Vice Principal  at one of my  colleges, Goldsmiths from 1940-1947.

Historical novelist Hilda Lewis was born in London in 1896. She married Professor Michael Lewis in 1921 who became thew Director of the Institute of Education in the University of Nottingham. Her first book, a novel of London's East End where her grandfather was a clergyman. Her first famous book was The Ship that Flew in 1939.
Hilda Lewis had an interest in social issues explored in the novel Strange Story which influence post-war opinion on capital punishment.
Via her husband she developed an interest in the language of children with his educational research on deaf children, this resulted in her most famous book 'The Day Is Ours' which was filmed as Mandy also known as Crash of Silence (1952). In later years she wrote historical novel s including one of her final novels I Am Mary Tudor and The Witch and the Priest.
Her novel about Richard II and his bride Isabella, The Gentle Falcon, was adapted for television in 1954.
From her marriage in 1921 she remained in Nottingham for the rest of her life, the city inspired one of her early novels, Penny Lace, set in the lace making industry.
After a major operation there were complications and she died as consequence in January 1974.

Hilda Lewis's husband Professor Michael Lewis was a scholar of children's language and communication in deaf children. His work inspired Hilda Lewis' novel 'The Day Is Ours' which became the feature film Mandy. He studied at University College London, then an academic at the University of Nottingham from 1921-1940, when he became vice principal of Goldsmiths College. In 1947 he returned to Nottingham University as a department director until his retirement in 1963.

BIOGRAPHY OF THE ARTIST ARTHUR FRANKENBERG-

I wrote this short bio on the designer Arthur Frankenberg for Wikipedia. He was very famous in the 20s and early 30s and then his name disappeared into obscurity. One of the little Napoleon's on Wikipedia who is on a power trip moved it to drafts wanting more citations, I had provided 16 separate references,  & whether 'he was notable.' Thus there can be endless articles about a vacuous 'celebrities' ie once appeared on a reality show, remember when celebrities  were Lauren Bacall, Einstein, Neil Armstrong, Ghandi or JFK?

Obscurity is invetable for  many in the Arts or Sciences. Fame rests largely on media and PR exposure which is largely limited to popular & lucrative popular entertainment. Wikipedia does cover obscurity, I have written articles on very obscure people but this time someone has got on their high horse & I can't be  bothered, here is  the article  that you cannot read on the online encyclopedia about a major designer:

Arthur Frankenberg who used the name Arthur von Frankenberg was an American twentieth century designer and sculptor of Art Nouveau and Art Deco figures. He is best remembered for his Art Deco sculptors of nude women, often supporting objects such as globes, and simliar figures designed as lamps.
He incorporated his own company Frankart Inc in the early 1920s located at the Manhatten address 1170 Broadway at 28th Street and later at 225 Fifth Avenue. The company boomed and produced an array of items: aquariums, ashtrays, bookends, centerpieces, clocks, incense burners, inkwells, lamps, smoker stands and smoker sets, vases, and wall plaques. However a disagreement between Frankenberg and the company management in 1930 resulted in legal action and the company declined until it ceased in 1935.

Quoizel Metal Art Company

Following his ousting from the company he founded, Frankenberg started the Quoizel Metal Art Compan in l930. The company folded in 1931

SYNCHRONICITY OR SIMPLY COINCIDENCE

Most of the productions: audio, stage, film, serial have the initials AJF  attached in the credits.h
Its connected to someone dearest to me.  Back in 2006 I was in Bexleyheath in Kent going through art works. I found the drawing below which looks just like her.
Remarkably the date of completion of the portrait was the same week she was born.
The picture is hanging in the room where I am typing and working right now.

9 Years and everything points to murder

This came up when looking for sheet music via Google. The discussions I had with various police and other professionals confirm  the following:

Brother of the murdered Bernadette Bazzoni.

https://twitter.com/#!/editorArmourae

Unless you believe the husband's story that a skull can be shattered in 3 places simply by falling down wooden household stairs; solid human skull. Then he gives contradictory stories of his location: in one he's in bed asleep then another he's in another room.

Then while my sister fought for her life having had life saving neurosurgery he gripped by fear an d panic tries to ban all of her relative from seeing her in coma- that's dozens of us and told further lies that I've proved to the police are lies.

When she died he despearately tried to hide the funeral from all her relatives. Off the record every trauma doctor, police etc etc say his claims are completely false and that the death is non natural.

As a journalist, it has been repeatedly confirmed to me that there is a problem in the justice system. The police blame the Crown Prosecution Service

What next to study?

The full set post school have been:  BTEC certificate: telecommunications and electronics (also did satellite tech & learned about  navigation and  driving boats). A levels: chemistry, physics, biology, literature, psychology, art. Degrees covering chemistry, physics, electronics (with various other aspects), pharmaceuticals. Maths was also part of these science degrees.
On the Arts: acting.,perfromance, design certificates plus I attended the research and PhD lectures in the classical music dept. At Ravensbourne, broadcast engineering and film. At a recording studio  video production  and a certificate in sound engineering and music production.
Electrical Installation level III, an environmental science short course, certificate in classical composition. Certificates in forensic science, forensics psychology, astronomy and the Holocaust and I  am looking forward to doing more. And did a directing course at a major London theater
-And that Cambridge University diploma in theology I studied for and then it was abolished just before I was going to take it.
 The Ship That Ran Aground

When I was 15 I had finished the last of my O levels, did the first ones when I was 13, and was ready to join the naval college at Greenhithe, the college was mostly land based since 1976 and stood next to the impressive  VVictorian Gothic house of Ingress Abbey  The naval connections had been toned a lot since early 70s.
The college's origins were a cadet ship HMS Swale, I believe was the ship, that fought at the Battle of the Nile.  The Honour Role had names from that battle, and Swale was one of the two ship names that was continued when I was there.
There is a memorial mosaic by the river Thames. An impressive image of a ship of the sail but the plaque is inaccurate. It describes only  Training Ship Worcester; she was put down in the first half of the nineteenth century when a young Victoria had ascended to the throne. There is no mention of the earlier ship which our college had a lineage to, enshrined in the Honour Role.
-To              be continued with photos  I'm off to do drone filminng

Cato sacrificium tyrannide contra omnes

ILL AGAIN - this was written sometime I think February 2019 & now published
This latest bout of physical and psychological 'crashing' resulting from the effects of my sister being murdered and the continuous lies and apathy of the MET Police, which are easily proven since through their blatant stupidity they cannot  be bothered to read a letter properly and dropped themselves right in it. Also, add the MET  'losing' her mother's murder case file years ago, despite finding her dead and the reasons they gave why the police who found her with my sister were certain it was homicide and thus a murder investigation.

A new symptom has emerged as the dentist confirmed that they had lost enamel from 3 teeth over the last couple of months; been twice, back then and today, her explanation is that teeth grinding has suddenly started occurring - in my sleep.
This injury 'reminded' me of the faint scars on my left arm caused by a large sharp knife.
"NOT self harming," I have explained to the psychiatric health teams that the doctor has referred me to a number of times, not by asking btw. "Yes I inflicted it upon myself, but your notes are wrong it was not self harm."
And so once again I have to go through the explanation, be quicker to refer any future counselors to this page:

Back when I was 14, the question, "Isn't it odd that so many of mum's dad's side of the family die of cancer?" was answered. An American geneticist had identified a rare form of cancer that was hereditary, this is not a tendency, it's a genetic code that once it is invariably activated releases a lethal cancer. Et viola we one of the very few families to be identified as a carrier; caused a stir in the genetics community, my mother's cancerous thyroid is on display in a prominent medical museum.

9 years later I had again had the 'inconclusive' blood test that I had  every few months at a London hospital. My indestructible mother  had already defeated the cancer twice by this time. Two inconclusive in a row or a positive and it would be the permanent loss of my voice, scarred throat and life long dependency on life saving medication if I was lucky plus more ops, more likely it would be only delaying the inevitable.

Having seen what had happened to my grandfather and other relatives I had long since resolved that once the pain had begun, which meant there was no hope, I was going to end it when I had enough, and not go through the Hell they had suffered.

The question was what would be the preferred method?
The test for various solutions was catalysed  as I became unintentionally reckless. The cause of this had been that they had met the woman who my film and theatre production company is named after AJF, after a few years of no contact. What should have been so simple, just explain to her: my decision was to spare her the horror my decline from cancer as the doctor's had had an inconclusive test when we knew each other, and we could not have children as it would be unfair to inflict on her and our children the trauma of what the future would be.
However it proved impossible to look into her eyes and tell her this. That emotion I have for her choked the words in my throat and I didn't know it was possible to feel that deeply which has never diminished in the slightest, quite the opposite. So a few attempts to explain myself only produced ill feeling until a stormy exchange where it was finally revealed.

Having then plunged further into an emotional trauma, only equaled and surpassed by Bernadette's murder over these years, I unintentionally got too reckless in how would I top myself if the cancer was eating away at me.
A certain garden plant brought my far closer to death than I had intended. The toxin metabolised after 3 hours and my heart regained its rhythm- so that was one effective way.

But I had always fancied Cato the Younger's method. The enemy of Julius Caesar and implacable defender of the Republic to the death, had taken his own life when Caesar was closing in on him after the Battle of Thapsus in the Great Roman Civil War, Cato had driven a sword into himself;
although like Tojo he made a bit of a mess of it.
Caesar's response on hearing of Cato's death was,
ὮΚάτων, φθονῶ σοι τοῦ θανάτου: καὶ γὰρ ἐμοὶ σὺ τῆς σαυτοῦ σωτηρίας ἐφθόνησας.’

Goldsmiths Art Dept. Armourae has worked on various art and theatre projects with graduates. Alumni of Goldsmiths include John Cale, Bridget Riley, Lucian Freud, Damian Hurst; whose eggs were stolen by foxes during an art project

I was told about  Damian Hirst & the eggs by the security guards  that I knew for years. He put them on the front lawn of Goldsmiths.  The art dept is at the forefront of conceptual art  however many students I knew  were not happy with the course as they didn't learn  technical skills

Archbishop of Canterbury Thomas Beckett (Ian Welch) at moment of death at the hands of Stephen Michael Armourae, Angela Nicholson and William Burtt

This is how I like to see myself, my face hidden. One of my favourite roles playing the knight that killed Archbishop Beckett and took the top of his head off

Stephen Michael Armourae threatens the people of England to remain inservitude to the French rulers having murdered Archbishop of Canterbury Thomas a' Beckett. Apologies for poor rendering from video

More from MURDER IN A CATHEDRAL, the last lines where the character I play justifies the killing of Beckett.  The director Reverend Ian trained as an actor in a style that is very expressive  but hardly taught in Britain.  Very lucky to have learned some things from Ian

IRELAND would have been so much better if Cathal & my ancestors had been the leadership after the Irish Civil War

Green screen filming of one of the speech or debating scenes between government investigator and the industrialist

This film The Third Testament was a lot of fun  and the writer-director Ali, did  great work on this, which was shown at the BFI. This scene had to contend with guinea fowl, noisy things but tasty!
Middle of summer I was sweating in this  metal box

THE OLD IMDB PROFILE PAGE-

If you look on IMDB there are profile pages & multiple photos attached to the named actors.
Invariably  smiling at some Press promotion or awards ceremony at the  carpet bit,
the flashlights of the cameras bouncing off their white polished teeth.

I couldn't give a damn about such trivialities! I'm an engineer and scientist: half trained chemical physicist so far who happens to be a trained actor and enjoys it.

So I filled up my profile page, when I had one, with people that interested me instead of pics of myself; additionally  I can't stand watching myself.

Midsummer Nights Dream. My poster design for the last production I did as a student at Goldsmiths, although I continued to work in drama, music, psychology & art dept productions for years afterwards. I think it contains a dedication to the love of my life here, think her initials appear on her as they do on my film productions :AJF
