Al Qaeda used to claim any a & all bombings as a means of producing a mirage of their size & to put the blame on the West for the bombing, The difference with the Sri Lanka bombing is that there is a video of the bombers declaring allegiance to ISIL .

In most Eastern churches Hell is simply the absence of God due to the pride or sinfulness of the deceased refusing to see Salvation. Buddhism has a very brutal Hell. Coming from a primarily Quaker based background I have a real problem of the theory of souls going to Hell. As that means that a divine spark which is incorruptible, is being sentenced for the sins of the body and mind which are largely/completely unaware of the spirit.

The Christian Hell emerged around 2nd century, as I recall without checking, as the Apocalypse of Peter is 2nd or 3rd century, influenced by the Jewish Gehenna, the valley where waste was burnt and so seen as a place of death. The Christian Patriarchs developed it as punishment to deter sin, which Nietzsche gave one of his few praises for Christianity: a world without the threat of Hell would have already descended into evil anarchy and power he believed. The fear of Hell actually decreased in the Middle Ages, it was Protestantism that reinvigorated the fear and threat of damnation.

IRON MAIDEN  - PASCHENDALE

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IUAQeqmj75Q

When I was a child I used to talk to an officer who was in the Battle of the Somme, he had lost a leg in the battle & he kept his false leg next to the wall in his study. He was about 90 by then.He included me in his will as he enjoyed our chats. What he didn't tell me, that I found out later what he, my relatives in both wars, was that at Paschendale, Somme & the World War I trenches they could hear rats gnawing on the dead at night. Vin, you say those who haven't fought aren't pacifists. That's true my father was sniper & some kind of special training that he didn't talk about except a couple of brief references. He loved being in the army when overseas in other countries, but after being a sniper he hated guns & fireworks. Many former soldiers hate fireworks as they sound like gunfire at a distance.Other relatives who were in heavy battles like dad often hated politicians when they choose to rush into war & not see the dead civilians & children or their comrades dying. You also say dying soldiers often wanting to be back with their mum. Dad saw fellow soldiers, who's last words were for their mother & wishing they were with them, or due to loss of blood they thought they were with their mothers.

Terrible battle amoung many.Around 800,000 dead or injured. It was during a crisis period of the war, where it looked Germany may have invaded Britain from Belgium & Holland as  a million German troops were freed from the Eastern Front. You can see some of the prayers I did for a service on Armistice Day 2018 & there is a video coming soon- http://armourae.blogspot.com/

When the Germans entered Belgium at the beginning of the war they were

accused of crucifying alive  priests & civilians. In the political

correctness of the 1990's this was dismissed by people who were not

researchers. I t has since been confirmed again that the Germans did do

crucifixions, and this was at the very beginning  months before trench

warfare began.

QUEEN THE SHOW MUST GO ON

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mwXYM_ZblQ0

Freddie was still alive when this song was released on the Innuendo album. Queen went to Switzerland to record the next album knowing that Freddie would be too ill to complete it so they recorded his vocals first on days when he could get to the studio.  If you've seen the Bohemian Rhapsody movie it contains a number of inaccuracies for artistic license. At Live Aid Freddie did not have the virus. Their last gig at Knebworth he was still getting negative test results but knew his time was limited as his group of friends at the Heaven nightclub were all contracting the illness, including the actor who played the Jester in BBC's Rentaghost. There is another Queen album: Queen with Paul Rodgers who is a great singer from the 70s. Made about +10years ago. Then he went back to his solo career and they did a reality programme to find his replacement in Adam Lambert, a decent enough singer but not a patch on Mercury or Rodgers but the band won't say that

METALLICA-  OF WOLF AND MAN

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gre0o6VCDY4

Vin has woken up! EyeHateGod he was comatosed. Metallica was listening to Sepultura's first song: Necromancer by the sounds of it, although that is a far better song with more melodies. Yeah GG Allin: Kill the Police. There have been a few famous cases of children raised by wolves, they behaved like wolves. One of the recent cases, when he was captured and brought back to 'civilisation' he went back to his pack with anthropologists, they wolves responded when he howled for them but wouldn't come to him as he smelt different, he had the smell of humans not of the wolf pack Apropos plants defending themselves, Alex will know this from Stryer's Biochemistry: tobacco plants contain nicotine to deter insects from eating them. The potato and tomato plants have similar compounds in their leaves to stop animals eating them. Doesn't stop the cabbage white butterfly which has evolved to eat them. Ignore those AMERICAN websites saying "Hey eat RAW vegetables" specifically potato, kale, cabbage, broccoli. The cruciferous vegetables contain toxins which slow your metabolism. The toxins are destroyed by mild cooking. Its the plant defending itself
